HEADHUNTING
- We use the term Headhunting because while it is not one of our main services, we have worked on countless assignments in almost every industry sector, over the years. Unless specifically asked to do so by our client, we will not place advertisements in the newspapers, nor will we advertise the position on any websites. We agree on the most critical aspects of the role, with our client, and then we begin the “Hunt“.
- The vast majority of candidates, we present to a client, are not on the market for a new role, when we first contact them. However, if they wish to meet our client after discussing the role in more detail, it is generally a sure sign that something has caught their interest.
- We always work with the same Independent Researcher, as we have worked with her for over 20 years and she never ceases to amaze with the candidates she finds, who are often based on the West Coast of the US, or Australia, or Singapore, but suddenly develop a desire to return home to Ireland! We have extensive networks, both here and abroad, particularly at a senior level, which includes candidates from all sizes of organisations. In addition to an excellent understanding of the practical, day-to-day side of what it is like working in a wide variety of sectors and organisations of all sizes and the unique demands of working in these various environments.
WHY CHOOSE US?
- As a completely independent consultancy, we are free to set our fees and terms. While we have the resources of a Global Search Firm, we do not have the same costs, and, as a result, we can be much more flexible with our fees, as well as our time, should the assignment need to be expedited for any reason.
- As we already know most of the clients who use this service, from the various other types of work we have carried out with them, we will know almost immediately if a potential candidate is a good match for the client. This provides us with a significant advantage and can expedite shortlisting significantly, and this should not be, for one moment, played down in its relevance. The most important thing to remember is that we do not do this just for a Headhunter’s fee; rather our objective is to find someone who will fit seamlessly into the team.
- If, for any reason, a candidate does not work out within 6 months, we will do everything we can to find you another suitable candidate.
- We are very flexible in terms of how fees are split and when they are paid. This typically varies from client to client, depending on whether the client is a startup or a Global multinational.
